Meg Williams Jamison
Meg Jamison is a city planner with a love for working with change makers. At Urban3, Meg works with our lecture clients and manages our marketing and public relations. She has over a decade of experience in building movements, making connections, developing relationships and building trust with partners, stakeholders and community members.
She has worked as a planner focused on small town revitalization in Western North Carolina with HandMade in America, and on community design projects with Asheville Design Center. Meg’s other passions include catalyzing sustainable local food systems and building vibrant, local economies. She coordinated the City of Austin’s first Urban Agriculture and Community Gardens program and directed a regional office at Local First Arizona, the largest local business coalition in the country.
Meg has an undergraduate degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia and a graduate degree in Geography and Planning from Appalachian State University. She currently serves on the steering committees of the Asheville Grown Business Alliance and Asheville on Bikes.
